Philosophy
Our business philosophy is to train teens to become safe, competent, defensive drivers. While many students are focused on the short-term goal of obtaining a drivers license and accompanying freedom, we emphasize the long-term goal of staying safe and alive on the roads by accepting the responsibility that comes with driving.
History
Freedom Driving School was founded in 2003 by Gary Embree, a local high school driver’s education teacher. A driving instructor since 1995, Gary opened Freedom Driving School with a goal of operating a business that emphasized personal instruction, customer service, and honesty. Since its beginnings as a true home-based business in Sacramento County, Freedom Driving School has grown in popularity with teens and their parents.
